Aegean Path Travel was created to offer a more personal way to experience Santorini — one that goes beyond the highlights and reflects the island as it is lived, not simply visited.

My name is Dora, and my connection to Santorini began long before I entered the world of tourism. I spent my childhood summers on the island, and since 2017 I have lived here permanently. Over the years, I have witnessed Santorini’s evolution firsthand, which allows me to share not only its celebrated views, but also its history, traditions, and everyday rhythms.

Alongside my local roots, my professional journey includes working with established tour agencies, hands-on experience in Santorini’s wine industry, and regular participation in grape harvests alongside local growers. As a result, the experiences I design bring together wine, gastronomy, culture, and landscape in a thoughtful and balanced way — always unhurried, personal, and grounded in authenticity.

A Personal Approach to Guiding

Over the past six years, I have guided more than a thousand private tours, welcoming guests from all over the world. My path into guiding began long before my first tour. My family owns small vineyards on the island, and I have participated in many harvests over the years — experiences that gave me a genuine appreciation for Santorini’s land, its people, and its distinctive wine culture.

Before creating my own experiences, I worked at a respected winery, learning firsthand about volcanic vineyards, indigenous grape varieties, and the craftsmanship behind each bottle. From 2018 through 2023, I expanded my expertise while working for a well-known wine and island tour agency, refining my approach and developing a guiding style grounded in knowledge, clarity, and personal warmth.

Combined with several years living in London, this background allows me to communicate naturally with international guests while offering tours that are both informative and thoughtfully curated. And because I personally guide every experience, guests can expect consistency, genuine local insight, and a sincere passion for what I do.
