About Us

Our business is a new project inspired by the memories we’ve made in Santorini since childhood and the skills we’ve developed working in the tourism industry, ranging from wineries to tour agencies.

We have a passion for the wine industry of the island, having participated in many harvests since a young age, and we’ve gained respect for the farmers and producers. Most importantly, we’ve learned to love Santorini, which has undergone significant changes over the years, becoming one of the most important wine regions in Greece and Europe—a place visited by millions every year.

We design gastronomic wine and food experiences and excursions around the island. We share numerous traditional stories and cultural narratives, making this tour not only educational but, most importantly, fun for people of all ages! Let us take you on a tour around the island and share our passion with you. Take this chance to explore Santorini in the company of a local!

Santorini

Settled in the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, Santorini stands as a demonstration of raw natural beauty.

This enchanting Greek island, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets and stunning architecture, is also celebrated for its unique culinary offerings, fueled by its volcanic soil, exquisite wines, and flavourful cuisine. This volcanic soil is a result of ancient volcanic eruptions that have shaped the island’s landscape over hundreds of thousands years. The rich, mineral earth adds a distinct character to the island’s produce, enriching it with unparalleled flavor and nutrition.

Despite its dry climate and challenging growing conditions, Santorini boasts a long and storied winemaking tradition, dating back centuries. The island’s indigenous grape varieties, such as Assyrtiko, Athiri, and Aidani, thrive in the volcanic soil, producing wines of exceptional quality and character. Assyrtiko, in particular, is Santorini’s flagship grape, renowned for its crisp acidity, minerality, citrus notes, and long aging potential.

Winemakers & Traditional Cuisine

Capturing the essence of Santorini through exceptional wines & local cuisine.

Winemakers on the island are using unique cultivation techniques, including the famed “kouloura” method, where vines are trained into low-lying baskets to protect them from the island’s strong winds and scorching sun. The result is wines that reflect the island’s terroir, capturing the essence of Santorini in every sip.

The island’s volcanic soil is particularly well-suited for cultivating a variety of fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, white eggplants, and fava beans. These locally grown ingredients form the backbone of Santorini’s traditional cuisine, elevating dishes with their intense aroma and robust taste.
